This activity is a semi-controlled practise of the present perfect in combination with the adverbs just, already and yet.
The teacher can elicit from the students what they need to do to organize a party - the students will say "buy drinks", "send invitations" etc... and write the list on the whiteboard, adding two columns called "already/just" ...
