how to make a valentine
This is a text that I took on the internet but I changed it because I added more cognates for my students. I also added questions about the text and on the second page you can find "how to make a valentine". Since we dont necessarily send valentines in our culture, I asked my students to draw a name and to write a valentine to that person.

2 Simple Past Readings
There are 2 readings to practice the simple past. One group could read the first story and the other group can read the second story, and they can ask each other questions about it. You could also give them part of the story and have them guess what happened at the end.
