Teaching materials : reading online

Hello everybody! Ive been surfing the net to find sites related to online reading. Ive found some nice ones and Id like to share the information.

Online stories and books:
http://www.starfall.com/    Different level stories ( greek myths, fables, fairy tales) You can listen to some of them while reading . Also fun and useful online activities .
http://www.fablevision.com/place/index.html   Once in fablevision, click on "fablevision place" ( the previous link should lead you there), scroll down and click on  " superthinkers" (http://www.superthinkers.com/enlightenme/st/
There youll find the Peetnick Mysteries, which is a fantastic interactive reading game. Do have a look. its great.
Also click on "north star website""(http://www.fablevision.com/northstar/). This is a beauuutiful story everyone of us should read. You can have it in English and Spanish. Highly recommended.
Comics:
http://www.readwritethink.org/materials/comic/  You can create your own cartoons.
http://www.professorgarfield.org/pgf_Intro.html   Different activities such us putting the garfield comic strips in the right order ( the reading ring ), videos about drawing cartoons, and even a comic lab you can use to create your own comic strips. Great fun!.
http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/comics.htm   Selection of comics and cartoons from newspapers.
http://www.grammarmancomic.com/comicsgman.html Not only Grammarman comics but also Spectreman and Archie cartoons. You can listen to them or have it as a video. There are a selection of Students comics with some excellent works ( e.g Green Town). You can make your own cartoon aswell and send it to be published in the students gallery and there are links to Drawing Manga ( http://omu.kuiki.net/class.shtml)
and Captain Underpants ( http://www.scholastic.com/captainunderpants/comic.htm)  another DIY comic site.
Hope you like them!

Thats great, Stextime! There are so many amazing sites! I feel overwhelmed. The DIY games page will be veeery useful. we are on a Reading Project using computers and interactive exercises. Have you found any cartoon site where you have comprehension questions or strips with no captions? And can anybody recommend any interactive activities generator? Something similar to Hot Potatoes, Ardora or the one used in this very site for online exercises. Thanks again.
