douglas
United States

I noticed that both of you have used the informal form in your examples--is there a speciall reason for that?  (It sounds kind of funny to me to use the "informal form" when you are asking somebody their name; I mean, how good can you know them?)

My name is Douglas.
I come from California (in the United States).
What is your name?
Do you speak English?Smile

Malvine
Latvia

This is in Latvian:
Mani sauc Alda.
Es esmu no Latvijas.
Kaa tevi sauc?
Vai tu runaa angliski?
[Actually "kaa" & "runaa" are typed/written with a prolongation mark which cannot be found in many languages; I will type it here as there are special marks on my PC but I m not sure you will see it as I have typed: & runā.]

BTW you can still download 2 very good WS from Sept 6th made by Ju Madeiro from Portugal, I think they are absolutely gorgeous: 1) Nationalities and Flags and 2) Countries and Flags.
