Dear Teachers and Students

I m writing to you because I want to compile a book of funny stories from English Language classes -- and I want  to inspire young people to become Conversation Assistants in our classes.

Teachers:  what moves you?  What inspires you to keep teaching?
What funny jokes did you hear in class?

Students:  what words are funny to you?  What do you remember from class?

Can you pass a message to young people in your life or neighbors?

(Here s the idea:  I have over 700 names of students and teachers in my email addresss book.  What are the best 1000 websites that this group can assemble?  what ESOL stories and jokes can we tell?   Let s put the funny stories here

If the book actually makes money, we ll share the proceeds.   I ll email everyone with the assembled list.)

STUDENTS OF ENGLISH:  Perhaps you have friends who will join us in clicking on these sites?  Let s get their google rank up...

THANKS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATIONWink

I was trying to explain in English the difference between Mrs and Lady to beginners. I said Lady used to be used for aristocrats.
One of them intervened : "Cats?"
I was like "Excuse me?"
And then, he said " like the film the Aristocats"
