Help - is or are

I just have a quick question.

Is this correct, My favourite snack is eggs ?

Favourite snack is obviously singular, but eggs is plural...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

Hi Phil,
The verb must always match the subject. So I would say "My favourite snack is eggs" or "eggs are my favourite snack"
Hope it helps.......by the way aren t you a native english speaker??
Bye bye!
