pre-intermediate book for teaching adults

Do you know a good course book for adults on pre-intermediate level that focuses mainly on speaking and listening? I know NorthStar but it is too advanced, I also came across Just listening and speaking but it is poorly arranged.

Any suggestions?

Regards:)

Hi!I am working with "REAL listening and speaking" (Cambridge University Press) and provides lots of listening and speaking in context. You can have a look in Cambridge University Press site:

Personally, I like working with Face2face series. You can find info about it on the Cambridge website too. Regards ;)

I don t know anything about Face2face,

but I recomend "English for life" by Oxford university press
It s greatly designed & has a lot of listening & speaking with writing activities.
You can find info about it on the www.oup.com/elt/englishforlife
I hope you would like it!

I would recommend New English File by Oxford University Press. Its nice book.

New English File is a great book but you will still have to supply more speaking activities if the main focus of your class is as much speaking as possible.
