Team work and group work are not the same thing.
In a team, everyone works together toward a common goal.
In a group, people work more independently.

Here are 2  links which may help you:

http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/differences-between-work-groups-and-teams.html

If your paper is about team work, you should probably just write team and not group.

I hope this helps.

They do have different meaning as far as sociology or psychology are converned. Do you mean team/group in relation to students in the class or teachers working together to deliver something?
