Wow! I don �t have any material on this =P =x but I also teach students who work for a company that makes lifting systems for a petroleum industry here in Brazil. Nice! :)

Oh, maybe this could help, too.
There is a glossary there. The site is the Society of Petroleum Engineers, which I just got to remember one of my students is a member of.
