Happy Easter!

marta v
Serbia

You see how much you learn about the customs around the world? Thank you all for sharing yours with us. In Serbia people are mostly of Orthodox religion, but in the northern part, where I live, there are many Catholics (including me), but we we don t associate Easter with too much grief, since we celebrate the belief that Jesus has resurrected and saved the humankind from all the sins. But we have also accepted the non-religious customs of colouring eggs, going for an egg hunt etc. The orthodox greet each other with: Jesus has resurrected. He has indeed. The Catholics just say: Happy Easter.
