Try searching task based approach to learning in Google or other search engine. The is plenty of useful information there.

Hi.
Try this site
http://www.willis-elt.co.uk/
The book these authors wrote "Doing task based teaching"  is recent and very complete. It has examples of this kind of teaching.
Hope it is useful.

I find these a must to anyone who is working on Task-Based Approach:
(I ve selecte only those published after 2000)

Ellis, R. (2003). Task-Based Language Learning and Teaching. Oxford: OUP
Nunan, D. (2004). Task-Based Language Teaching. Cambridge: CUP
Willis, D. & Willis, J. (2001). Task-Based Language Learning. In R. Carter & D. Nunan (Eds), The Cambridge To Teaching English to Speakers Of Other Languages. Cambridge: CUP

Now, this one is not a must, of course. I m one of the co-authors of a chapter entitled: "Task-Based English Language Teaching and Learning - Evaluating the impact of tasks on students":
Vieira Flvia (Ed). (2009). Stuggling for Autonomy in Language Education. Foreign Language Teaching in Europe - Vol. 11.  Frankfurt: Peter Lang.

Hope I could help.
 Have a nice day,
mena

A very good selection, dear Mena! However, I have to add that for us, Portuguese teachers, Flvia Vieira has always been a "must", too. Congratulations for your participation in such an interesting and useful book!

Indeed Teresa! I have read all of Flvia Vieira s books and I truly admire her work. I felt really honoured to have the opportunity to participate in one of her projects - Struggling for Autonomy in Language Education.

Have a nice day,
