today I had five minutes left and played "The Vicar s Cat"

It s an old and extremely simple vocab game about adjectives.

I started off saying "The Vicar s cat is an angry cat"

The next person had to find an adjective starting with b, and say, for example, "The Vicar s cat is a brilliant cat",
the next person with c and so on.
In the end we had, among others, a murderous cat, a sexy cat, a hardworking cat and a lot of fun.

Hi olaola, I always hava a small poem with me, than I put it on the board and I ask them to read it loudly for their classmates. And thats and exercise that you practice the pronounciation part and can be done even in the first class. There is one good exemple:
Rain rain go away,
Come again another day.
Little Johnny wants to play;
Rain, rain, go to Spain,
Never show your face again!
