Hello! I need some help! We use There is obout the singular nouns, but I don �t know when we order more one singular noun what must I use . For example :
There is/ are a hospital and a police station.Please, help me!

If there are more than one singular noun, you use "there is" again just like:

There is a rug, a fireplace and a sofa in the room.

I think we should use "there is" even if we have a list of singular nouns cz
the 1st one in the list is singular..
It �s like "there is a hospital and there is a police station"
the 2nd one is omitted.
