I see these from the books, And do you know which one is correct.
First, next, then, after that, finally,   or 

First,  then, next,  after that, finally,

"First" has to come, well first, and "finally" has to come at the end, but "then" "next" and "after that" just mean after the previous action so that can be used in any order. Maybe that �s why you �ve seen both.
