Thank you!  That will save a lot of searching.  I always try to start every day at school with a poem because they help students to absorb so much grammar, figures of speech etc without even knowing it.  It also haelps them learn to express themselves.  I often find when my students are writing poetry, that they talk about things which they would never tell anyone else and it has led to some painful bot amazing healing processes.  Franknbea I read you post with my eyes shut and my lips are sealed.

A poem to end the week with...

"Musings of Optimism

Its no use looking back

To all the things youve said and done

They all belong in the past

Where the sun once shone

Youll only get a sore neck

If you keep looking to the past

You will only miss the present

And the future is coming up fast

Concentrate on the here and now

And do what you have to do

Climb one mountain at a time

And be glad when youre through

You can do so much more

When you focus on the task

You can relish being yourself

And you can take off that mask

Enjoy the lot youve been given

And dont complain of any chore

For if you had less to do

You would only ask for more

Live everyday as if it was your last

And enjoy the present a while

Stop looking to the past

And face the present with a smile.

They sure give a beaming light on this, rather grey and rainy, Saturday Big smile
And a treasure chest to share with our students, too !
