Translation: All adults from countries participating in the Lifelong
Learning Programme (LLP), whether or not they
are already involved in adult learning, can attend our workshop. Individual
adult learners must be aged 18 or above and
either, nationals of a country participating in the Lifelong Learning
Programme; or nationals of other countries ,
provided that they are either permanent residents or registered as stateless persons or hold refugee status
in a country which participates in the programme.
Participants who are no longer undergoing initial education
within the formal school or higher education system can participate
the workshop activities.
Working language will be English; however the participants are
not expected to use English on advanced level. Intermediate level
will be enough for them to understand the activities which will be carried out during the week. Course content will be
about trekking in Phrygian Valley in Eskişehir
region. It is enough to be healthy and be able to trekk about 20 kms a day.
People who are interested in trekking,
history and like to explore new culture and country can participate in this
workshop.
Main activities

Basic knowledge about trekking rules
Lessons about Phrygian Valley�s history and
especially about the historical features of the parts which will be explored by trekking.
Eskişehir which is a city in middle Anatolian will be have
introduced within its authentic and modern features to participants.
Trekking trips will have been done on the Phrygian Valley to
different points with different historical features.
They will have prepared a photo- exhibition of their trekking in
the Valley and had the opportunity to share their impressions with
the other participants of the workshop and their friends in their home country.
The participants will become acquainted to Turkish culture due a
Turkish night at the end of the programme.
