We have gone to a party at the weekend or
We went to a party at the weekend

Hello there.  I think that if the weekend weren �t over yet, we would say "We have been at a party this (or all) weekend".

The only way you could say "I �ve gone to a party" would be if you were still there enjoying it (like sbd is looking for you and asking you "how come you �re not at your place ?")
