Hi... friends please help.... Using " my dear pen friend," ... Or " my dear pen friend Jim "... To start an informal letter .. Is it correct..?.... Please help me..

For an informal letter:  Dear Jim,  would normally be used.
 
If you want to include the other words: My dear penfriend Jim,

You can use a variety of greetings:
 
Dear Jim (standard personal letter greeting)
 
My dear penfriend
 
My dear penfriend Jim
 
However, it is important to note that using "My dear ..." really implies a very close relationship.  Personally, I �d stick with the standard greeting.
