Hello, everyone! I īve been constantly receiving spam messages in my hotmail account, and it īt not unusual, I just delete them and no major problem, but it seems strange that now even here at ESLP I īm receiving these spam messages too! Have any of you been receiving them.... or am I the lucky one?!?!? This is the 3rd, the other 2, honestly, I don īt even remember the member, I just deleted it, and paid no attention, I sent a pm to Victor, but I just got this today AGAIN... so I thought I īd ask here in the forum, what īs going on???

Mar! That īs what happened to me a fcouple of weeks ago! they got through my mailbox , stole all my addresses and were sending the same messages to all my contacts, asking for money!
Please change your mailbox password! This is the only way not to have trouble! Make sure you don īt answer any form asking you for your email and password ! They are very clever: they sent me a form as if it was from my net provider , with the same copied logo asking for renewed information! They even had access to my paypal account and bought something from ebay . So be careful!!

Scam spam is very common and will infiltrate your system in any which way it can.
Itīs important to protect oneīs identity so as to minimise the risk. Therefore, I recommend that the option to add oneīs e-mail address to oneīs member page not be used. Using this option provides an easy gateway to scam spam.
How do you change it? Go to Edit my profile and change your email setting to no for publication.

P.S. I opened a dodgy e-mail a few weeks ago (that I thought it was from a friend and didnīt go to junk) and it then continued to plaster obscene photos at the top of every e-mail I opened. It was really weird how it did that because it didnīt register with any of my virus/spyware software when I did a full system scan. Luckily it disappeared. |
