I need to translate an article about the  velvet tigers; what do you think the title sholud be-the velvet tigers: precious animals or velvet tigers: precious animals
do you find the article better in emphasizing the title ?

As you are talking about Velvet Tigers generally, do not use the article.

You can use: The Velvet Tiger; a precious animal,  to show you are speaking about a particular type of Tiger.

Velvet Tigers; Precious Animals when speaking generally.

Sounds interesting!
Happy New Year.
Pauline.

I know that when we talk generally about something there is no need of using articles; but I pointed out the fact that I make an explanation; precious animals ; Don ;t you think it would be better to use the article just to emphasize the quality that follows?
