Working with English-speaking students

I have two  new students, two kids of 10 and 11 years old. They came from  the USA two years ago.

I would appreciate any help regarding the material to be used with them (textbook/readers/ etc).
I guess native teachers who know the  school syllabus could  be of huge help. Anyway, all opinions will be  welcome.

Thanks  in advance

I dont think it is so important to follow any sylabus - pick a topic they like -
adventure stories from Ancient Egypt, and books by J. Verne, K. May and myths were my favourite...
