Looking for computer games to practice vocabulary

Dear collegues,
In my school we cannot use computers so I am not very familiar with what the web has to offer. I am sure there must be tons of sites out there to help kids learn English.
I have one kid in my 5th grade who only recently started to read. His technical reading is coming along nicely but he lacks the vocabulary to understand what he is reading. He sort of lacks the motivation to really sit and learn them for worksheets his class did in the lower grades so I thought computer games might do the trick. His mother assured me that he would be more likely to work on vocabulary if it was presented by a screen Big smile.
My question is of course: Can you recommend sites with games which would suit him. He needs really basic vocab: colors, family, bodyparts, transportation, and very important - verb meanings. Does any of you know some good games to teach this kind of vocab? Also games to improve reading would be great but since he is 11 (and likes to think of himself as 16) it mustn t be too childish....
Please help....

Hi Marion

Check these ones. These are all mine, but you have plenty of different ones, ready to go.

Also here, youll find a great collection - some were made by our friends  from ESL, some are mine, some are from different sites.
