Tests for dyslexic students

Hello there.I have a few dyslexic students in their first, second or third year of English and I have no idea of the sort of  written tests I could give them.Their parents think it wouldn t be a good idea just to give them oral tests. Could anyone show me what sort of grammar or vocabulary tests they usually give to these students? Are multiple choice tests any good? Can we expect them to know their irregular verbs? Thanks for helping me helping them.

To my dyslexic students I give these exercises:
- matching the picture and the name (vocabulary)
- complete the sentences (grammar or functions) but I write all the words they need to complete
- transform the sentence into affirmative, negative or interrogative (grammar) and if necessary I write the grammar rule
They can t learn many verbs by heart, so give them the most important verbs  with picture, repeat them several times and then show them the picture and ask the corresponding verb.

I think that the best way to make them remember meaning, pronunciation, spelling of a word is this one. Grammar can be tested this way, too. Multiple choice could be used but not long sentences and always include pictures. And yes, they can learn their irregular verbs! Reading and writing seem much easier this way. Grammar rules must be presented in a way to make them remember a picture. This is what I did for Simple Present and Present Continuous. I also believe that tests on the computer are much better than the written ones....

When they take the test they must have someone with them to help them write. Because the problem for these students is the writting and reading.
