Need Help!

Please I want to know which one to say:

I ll take a shower or I ll have a shower

And if both are correct, would you please tell me the difference in meaning?

Thanks in advance

Both are correct and you can also say I shower.I am sure native English speakers could explain the difference better than me.

For me they are equal.

I would say have a bath or have a shower. I suspect take is American English.

I agree with Lynne. "Have" is British and "take" is American.
