Dear Friends:
Do we use "is" or "are" with majority. Sentence is below:
" Some staff are paid to work in the shops, but the majority of people working in charity
shops are volunteers.

2": A growing number of people is singular or plural: Sentence is below:
" A growing number of people use charity shops because they want to help the environment and prefer to
buy used goods to new ones.

3. "Police tell people" or "Police tells people"
