FILM NEEDED
|
Could you suggest an easy film (not very long, if possible) for my 12-year-old students last days of class this term? Their level is very low, so I d like a movie (a cartoon, perhaps?) which they can understand easily.
Thanks!

Mr Bean is always great. I blindfold half of the class while the other half watches. They then have to explain the story to those who were blindfolded who in turn report back to me. Finally we all watch the movie together again. Choose a short video, maybe 5 minutes or so, available from youtube! |

The Gruffalo s Child is very good for young learners. It has very simple language, very clearly spoken and many sentences are repeated throughout the film (30 min long). My son watched it last year with English subtitles on and he could understand almost everything without any help from me. He was elementary level at the time.

Mr Benn, a 1970s animated TV program. One episode is about 14-15 minutes long. The English is very good for low-level learners. It is slow and clear and simple. I watched it when I was about 5, and I loved it. I hope that helps.
Have a good n...
