Hi there,

Here I am with another question about grammaticality. Which one is right for the following sentence:

X and Y are indicator/indicators of the importance of this subject.

Indicators, because together, they make a plural. You could, of course, express this differently - X and Y demonstrate/ emphasise/underline the importance.... Or, X and Y are indicative of ....
