In the US, at least, that �s how most people say it. James Brown also had a song "I feel good (I knew that I would, now)".

�Well � would also be an an adjective here (rather than an adverb, which some people tend to believe), as would �happy �, �sad � etc. It �s a perfectly acceptable use of an adjective after verbs like �feel � (such as seem or get - sometimes known as �linking verbs � or �semi-copulas �) and generally implies good spirits, as opposed to health.

Feeling good is an overall feeling of well being.
If someone asks you: How do you feel and you answer - I feel good, that means things are going fine.
If someone asks you: How do you feel and you answer: I feel well - then they might ask if you have been ill. Feeling well is often attributed to being sick.
