translation problem

Hi everybody,
I really need help to translate a word or to find the good one
when a mother and a daughter get on very well, we can say
they have a ...... mother-daughter relationship ... is it conniving ? or knowing ? or something else?
and when I want to say: they are very .... in collusion???? is this correct???
thanks a lot for your answers

I would say loving or just good . Definitely not conniving or knowing. They are on the same wavelength   very much in tune with each other   or in harmony or they think alike ... I m not sure if there are any set phrases.
