Good Morning,
I am very interested to know how several countries choose
i) their schools to participate in PIRLS
ii) how they prepare their students to take part in PIRLS
I would be much obliged for your answers.

I�m afraid
you can�t choose to be tested as they follow a random sample design.
Regarding
preparation, if you want to see samples of the test, you can check the last one(
2011) There won�t be another assessment until 2016. You can learn more at http://timssandpirls.bc.edu/
