Joanne, Korea was the only country that came up when I did a search to see if other English schools had CCTV.

As for why they �ve decided to introduce it, it doesn �t seem to be for legal reasons, and it �s not because of authoritarian management - in fact I �ve had all the freedom and respect from management that I could want as a teacher, which is why this came as such a surprise. The motive seems to be to introduce a "special" technology feature to the school. I �m wondering if it �s a cultural difference, and that they don �t see it as imposing and mildly offensive...
