can i use "it �s my pleasure" to reply to a invitaion?
"Would you like to go to the theater with me tonight?- It �s my pleasure.What time?"

The expression works, just adjust the verb.
"would you like...?"  It would be my pleasure. or stick with "with pleasure!"

So formal...probably the answer would be..."love to" or "that would be great, thanks."

At least here in the States, "my pleasure" is often used as a synonym of "you �re welcome." So the inviter would use it after the invitee gushes thank you.
