Dear all:
I noticed a mistake in this worksheet in the explanation at the beginning. only change the word compund (written in red now) to simple sentence 2. The worksheet is updated now.
sorry for this
 

Lacy was sick, so she went to the hospital.

Lacy was sick = simple sentence 1

She went to the hospital = compound sentence 2

so = coordinator
