There are these language problems that you come across from time to time and that are quite difficult to find answer to, if you don�t actually live with native speakers - even though they look quite banal - and here�s one of them. I was teaching words like mess and messy person, fussy person, tidy person ... and kids asked me how we call that activity that tidy people (unlike untidy ones) do with their clothes when they get home and take them off (meaning they don�t leave socks on the floor or chair, and they don�t leave sweatshirts on the bed ...) They can hang clothes on a hanger and ...?  Is any of these expressions alright? - put clothes away, pile your clothes up, fold your clothes up .... I somehow don�t like any of them  :o(
