Present simple or present continuous??

Hi. I �m helping a 7th grade student. His teachet gaves him a worksheet about Present simple and present continuous. I �ve got a doubt.
Can you please help me?

1. She______ (begin) to feel better this morning.

Is it present simple or present continuous? I shouldn �t be a past tense because was this morning?

is beginning - it is describing how she is at that moment and not in general.

As for the rest of your question, we are assuming that it is still morning, which explains the use of the present continuous.
