i guess the sentence is "clothing fashions of today change frequently"
so the subject is "fashion" (clothing fashions of today") and the predicate = the verb is "change" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predicate_%28grammar%29

ELOJOLIE274 is exactly right, but for even more completeness: clothing is an adjectival noun. Fashions is indeed the subject. Of is a preposition, of course, and today is the object of the preposition. Change is the main (and in this case, only) verb while frequently is the adverb that modifies is. The complete predicate is change frequently.

MoodyMoody is right. Remember that the predicate is more than just the verb, so the predicate in this case is "change frequently".
