Hi there : Thanks for your great comments. As Lynne , I love cats and her comment was funny and at the same time reminded me of my naughty cat, spending long days away, doing God knows what :))). So Lynne, it s your turn again .

Well, looking at that, I don t know whether I want to be that cat s mother or actually be that cat! That cat looks like the cat that got all the cream! Gorgeous picture. Thanks, Flori! I ll post a new picture tomorrow - had my department review today; observations and this and that - I m shattered.

Hey Lynne,
Your "shattered" comment just taught me a new difference between BE and AE-when you said you were shattered I assumed you were broken apart/sad/disappointed (the review went real bad), but it didn t really fit the context, so I Googled it:

adjective: shattered
  1. broken into many pieces.
"a snaky line of shattered glass"
synonyms: fragmented, broken, disintegrated, splintered, fractured, cracked
"the shattered remains of her china"
    • (of something abstract) damaged or destroyed.
"a pale illusion of their shattered dreams"
    • Britishinformal
      exhausted.
"I usually feel too shattered to do more than crawl into bed"
