HELP

Hi dear friends ,

I have  doubth .

I have to rephrase this sentence  and I have to use the verb remember again

" I don t remember if locked the gate this morning"

Which is the right answer:

I  don t remember locking the gate this morning.
I don t remember having locked the gate thismorning

And .......... is this preposition OK?

The health of our planet is OUT OF risk

Thanks in advance

There is little difference between

I don t remember locking the gate this morning.
I don t remember having locked the gate this morning

The use  of perfect gerund does imply that the action expressed by the non-finite form (having locked) precedes that of the main verb - predicate (remember). The same thing is true in the first sentence (although used in the non-perfect form - locking) it is clear that the action expressed by the gerund has already ended.

Cheers, Giorgi

The health of our planet is AT risk.

I agree with Giorgi on the other answer. Id probably say:
I dont remember locking the gate this morning.
