Armistice / Veteran īs Day (November 11)

Hey Everyone,
This week I am ready to talk to my young students about the military and the role they play in the world. I believe it is an important issue to discuss and now that Armistice / Veteran īs Day is approaching (November 11), I am going to have each student write a thank you card to a service member to thank them for what they do. I also made some other activities I think they will enjoy doing to learn vocabulary related with the military. You can find some great ideas here for your own classroom if you are interested.
