Freer/fun activities at the end of the lesson

Hey folks,

I am going to give an INSETT next month and I would like to have some suggestions on  2nd freer practice that not only revises what has been taught during the lesson but also is a fun activity before break time. My target age group is adults.

Here is an example of what I was talking about- MADLIBS
BEFORE CLASS
1. choose a text that is related to the topic you are studying
2. hide some words e.g. verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs (10 of them)
3. give a number to each gap you have
4. on a separate sheet write the word class of each word
5. define what verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs are and give examples

IN CLASS
1. tell students they are going to have a fun activity
2. give them the definition and examples of the 4 word class discussed above
3. ask them to write numbers from 1 to 10 vertically
4. tell students the word class and they have to think of a word (e.g. verb- bump) next to the number you mention
5. give students the gapped text and the fun starts

Here is an activity I prepared for students who studied passive voice (past and present simple)- https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lt5B4MeHjgWms-C_eyFnhkRmA_0mt_8OM6rFMzX9pxI/edit?usp=sharing

I am open to any suggestion you have :)

Cheers, S
