Your opinion about the correctness of a sentence

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to ask you if the following sentence sounds good to you.

GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED YOU FOR YESTERDAY

or is it better to say?

GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR YESTERDAY without specifying who you asked something for

My best wishes
Yolanda

Both are definitely correct. The second is especially appropriate if the person you are speaking to isn t the person you made the request to yesterday.
