Please help me choose the correct preposition: I will give you the details ...the festivals (of/ about) .Thankssa lot.

It seems that "about" would be correct in this case because "of" is used when you are speaking about the information itself and not the content. Ex: "information of no consequence" or "information of the utmost urgency" Hope that helps.
