"Where" seems *almost* correct but a tsunami destroys things and where it destroys them is less important.
You could ask something like "where was the village the tsunami destroyed?" if you wanted to know in what area or country it was in. Or just "where was the tsunami?" I hope that helps!
Random fact: tsunami is a Japanese word meaning "harbour wave".
