Dear Teachers,
I have a doubt.. Can anybody help me?
Is correct to say: My father doesn �t have lunch at home, he DOES at the office. or I have to say he has lunch at the office?

OR
He has it at the the office.

the only time you can use does.

Does he have lunch at the office? Yes, he does.

Or No, he doesn �t.


otherwise: has-have = affirmative form.

Grammatically, you could say, "My father doesn �t have lunch at home, but he does at the office." �But this sounds like your father eats lunch if he is at the office at lunchtime, but not if he is at home.
I would say, "My father doesn �t have lunch at home; he eats at the office."

"Does" is the auxilliary verb, "have" is the main verb.  You should use the main verb if you are going to re-include (is this a word?) the details in the answer. Otherwise, you could say "Yes he does." or "No he doesn�t." (the short answer).
