Swine Flu Kills 68 people In Mexico and more than 1,000 infected

Hello,
Im very nervous about this virus here in DF, Mexico State and San Luis Potosi.
I live in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mex. and The Centers for Disease Control reported 17 cases here in Jalisco.Confused
Schools and Universities suspended classes and also public events as soccer games, concerts, etc.

I am so scared.
I want to know, what news and newspapers say about this virus in your country.

Thanks, Hugs from Mexico

I have heard the news today. One of the things that impacted me was that you cant kiss or shake hands with another person and you have to cover your mouth all the time. It is terrible. I hope this ends soon. God bless you.

TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS.....hope everything ends well for your family and friends. I have some family in Mexico, and I am worried about them. In Spain we know about it through the TV news.

I ve heard about it on yesterday s news. Well, I have to say I got scared when I heard the news. I keep my fingers crossed and hope it won t spread any further. I ve heard that people die from that flu. In the news they also say that anti-viral medicine can help but I doubt whether it will ever be available at this large scale. In Belgium they ve called for a meeting (only specialists) to see what they can do. I still don t know the outcome. Good luck to all of you. Take care.

I just heard that there have been cases diagnosed in the US and they are  checking a group of students from Iceland who have just returned from Mexico. The specialists and the Minister of Health here in Greece are conferring now. The EU will also have a conference. It s  never just one country. So let s all hope for the best.

We went through something similar in Toronto a few years back.  It was SARS.  The government intervented and the infection was put under control.  It was very upsetting for the people and if anyone sneezed or coughed people would stay away fearing infection.  It is a sad time for your country and I wish you and your people the best.
