Hello,
This weekend I ve been away, without any internet connection.
I ve seen lots of posts concerning worksheets that have been copied from eslprintables users in other websites or blogs.
Many of the links take to web pages that have been removed, so it seems that our unity is a powerful tool.
The terms of use of this website say clearly that...
The printables included in this website can be downloaded for personal use only. You are not allowed to use them for commercial purposes, nor to publish them by any means.
Furthermore, according to the Berne convention:
As soon as a work is "fixed", that is, written or recorded on some physical medium, its author is automatically entitled to all copyrights in the work, and to any derivative works unless and until the author explicitly disclaims them, or until the copyright expires.
This means that you are the copyright owner of your worksheets from the very moment you make them, even if you don t register them.
I really think that there are things that we can do to protect our work:
- First, if we know the user that stole the worksheets, they sould be banned from eslprintables.
-
Second, we should mail those webmasters, asking them to remove all our work from their website. I m sure most of them will do if they get lots of emails
- Third, if the first solution doesn t work, I can send a warning: if they don t remove the stolen worksheets, I will report them:
- To blogger, if it is a blog published in blogger.
- To adsense. Most websites have adsense as the main earnings source. Their account in adsense can be banned if they break copyrights.
- Fourth, if they don t listen to us, I would actually report them.
So, please, could you help me to build a list of websites that have copied our work, including the original URL and the URL where the copy appears?
This is what I ve found in the previous posts:

Have the copies been removed?
I ve seen that at least some copies have been removed. Are there any copies still there?
