I wanted to share this page with you.
Some tips for teaching  creative writing! The author suggests to introduce the traits one at a time.
The Six Trait Posters are available in both Word and PDF formats.

 

You can see a writing example with the scoring guide (PDF). 

Pupils use the guide to discuss and score writing samples, and to assist them revising their own work.
