Animal Game
Can be used for teaching, reinforcing and testing animals vocabulary (parrot, fish, crocodile, kangaroo, hippo) and movements vocabulary (fly, jump, swim, walk). I used it with a group of five year olds, and they loved it. All you need is two figures and a die. Figure out in what way you want to use the vocabulary and divide the children into two groups. I also divided them into pairs which are within the groups. You can have more than two groups in larger classes. I used it with these sentences:
-Can (crocodiles)(swim)?
-Yes, they can. They can (swim).
or
-No, they canīt. They canīt (fly).
