I wrote this worksheet when my family and I returned from Ivory Coast after a Christmas holiday. I chose a mixture of regular and irregular verbs for students to put into the past simple. I also used the contents of this worksheet to spark off a discussion about travel and the difference between having a Christmas break here in the UK and going somewhere different and hot.
