007 Secret Message
I use this sort of exercise to have children practise spelling and revise numbers and colours. They play in small groups of 3 and "decode" the message. After that they read the message and do the spelling of each word.
They may also write their own message in numbers and tell it to other groups reading the numbers.

Its Winter
A cross curricular lesson? Maybe, but very simple! After a science lesson, the teacher of Italian and myself invented a story the children had to repeat. I made the pictionary and we had the children "read" the pictures and tell what they had learnt. I explain it in the second page of the ws.
The pictures are from Phillp Martin. Happy 2011

There comes the sun
Here is my contribution to our colleague Franknbeas project for the children of Pakistan. Id like to help even if I know that my worksheet is very simple, simple but I made it with all my heart. Thanks

Science cover
I am preparing some CLIL science lessons for my second graders and I thought to start with a cover for their exercise books. I went through the rules and I didnt find anything about this kind of contribution. I am ready to delete it if it is not a valid one. Thank you. The pics are from www.midisegni.it
P.S. I edited the title, now its only "Sci...

Santa Claus Domino
My second graders, seven-year-old children, are learning to write numbers, so I prepared for them a Christmas domino with numbers 10-20. They enjoyed playing with those special numbers and they had fun.
I had to scan the pages because of the font I used.

Matching
First of all I have to thank charmed one for the nice template that I can use with her permission.
This type of exercise goes after all the work with the various pictionaries. I check if the children have memorized the words with a "matching" exercise: the words are not just below the pictures and they have to choose the correct match.
Enjoy

Whats the weather like?
Pair work. Children draw the weather symbols on their worksheets and ask questions to guess what weather their friends have chosen for each day of the week.
"Is it rainy on Sunday"? Yes, it is/No, it isnt

Is that a cobra?
This pictionary is a "sequel" to the worksheet I posted yesterday http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=412499#thetop
Ill hand it out as a self-correction worksheet.
Thanks to Jecika for her template. Ciao
